Camilla Cerioni (1994 Ancona, Italy)

Cerioni’s works are interdisciplinary using sensory perceptions, starting from the abstraction of sonic languages where body movement, images and music are interconnected and mutually contingent. She is fascinated by Nordic sensibility where strength of nature and powerful expression are manifested.

She finished her Master in Fine Arts at Listaháskóli Íslands – Iceland University of the Arts in 2024.

She showed her works in Finland (workshop residence, Saimaan Amk Kuvataide University, Imatra 2018), in Portugal (Conference Proceedings — European Encounter of Erasmus Partner Faculties, Porto 2018) and in Lithuania (study mobility – Vilniaus dailės akademija, 2020).

She participated and performed in several exhibitions in Italy, including her solo in Ancona (AN) “Reflection” (2022) and in Castelnuovo Rangone (MO) “PA.CE con Chiesi: Le dimensioni della pittura” (2022), with the painter Andrea Chiesi.

She performed in Iceland at Plan B Festival, Borgarnes (2021), at Rýmd, Reykjavík (2022), at Flak in Patreksfjörður (2023) and with the ensemble “Skerpla” at The Dark Music Days Festival, Reykjavík (2024), at The Reykjavík Arts Festival, Reykjavík (2024) in The Living Art Museum thanks to Listaháskóli Íslands, Reykjavík (2024) and in the United Kingdom at Glasgow University Chapel with Across the Waters – XXIX International James Joyce Symposium, Glasgow
